Tessa Violet continues to form her own path within the large, over-crowded aspect of pop, however, Tessa's second release of 2022 not only serves as a fresh taste of what she has to offer – prior to heading out on the road for 20+ shows starting this weekend – but "BREAKDOWN," also doubles as a multifaceted breakdown (pun intended) of what is to come from her forthcoming sophomore album due out for release later in 2022.

Following on from the release of "YES MOM," earlier in 2022, Tessa's "BREAKDOWN" is the type of song that emphasises more of what her loyal fanbase has come to like about the artist and songwriter: her delivery of a growing vocal performance and recurring aspect of nicely tuned production that lays over a solid story.
