Oklahoma-based indie synth-pop duo The Ivy drop anthemic but bittersweet debut track “Hurts Just Right,” capturing the feeling of knowing it’s best to let someone go and the pain that accompanies it despite knowing it’s the right thing to do.

With ethereal vocals from singer-guitarist Wyatt Clem laid over a groovy soundscape led by keyboardist Shawn Abhari , blending guitars and synths with evocative beats punctuating the arrangement.

After connecting at music production school, Clem and Abhari have built up an impressive career, touring and honing their live performance skills, sharing the stage with the likes of LANY and The Band Camino. Only on their first single, the rising act is on a carefully crafted path to becoming one of the most promising indie-pop acts to come out of Oklahoma.
