Los Angeles based singer/songwriter LACES is known for her honest lyrics that permeate her introspective contemporary pop records. Her latest heartfelt single "Underdog" is an anthem of catharsis and is off of her just shared debut LP Super Weirdo.
In "Underdog", acoustic guitars wistfully ebb and flow under hushed candy-dipped vocals full of emotion. The track is a passionate plea for self acceptance and an understanding that feeling misunderstood or feeling as if you are a misfit can happen in life from time to time. LACES is the tender indie pop music project of Jessica Vaughn. Vaughn grew up in New Jersey, a child of musical theater.
