Empowering LA act Gabriella Marinaro announces debut EP INNER SPACE with anthemic single and music video “Goodnight Moon,” about the triumphant feeling of letting go of toxic relationships and regaining individuality.
Rooted in her self-described “sad girl” musicality, the track reflects the power and confidence embedded in telling someone who makes you unhappy that they no longer have a space in your life, as it brings much-needed feelings of self-love to the surface.
Tapping into strong lyrical messages, framed by her soaring, bold vocals layered over hazy sonics, “Goodnight Moon,” manages to be foreboding yet optimistic as urges women everywhere to take back the power in relationship, accompanied by a cinematic music video which elevates the track's hypnotic vibes.
A newcomer to the scene Marinaro looks set to establish her sonic versatility with her debut EP, which will take us through her struggle and mental state on returning to Los Angeles from Rome, as she allows her music to be a vessel to process her emotions and thoughts – “Goodnight Moon,” proving to be an impressive first glance of the same.
