Plymouth's The Native hit the big time with "Blindside"

Quickly ascending to the heights of indie heroism, Plymouth five-piece The Native release their latest hit "Blindside." The first single from their partnership with label This Feeling, the track propels the band's distinctive guitar notions into the faces of those wanting to discover the next big thing.

Currently touring with Bastille on their UK and EU tour, the band's fight to prove themselves as a band that should be on everyone's radars sees them return with a punchy new single. A fierce song with anthemic qualities, the track soars with an indie force that backs their plans for stardom with crashing drums and rising guitar lines, with vocalist Charlie's inimitable vocals fusing everything together to create a track that packs a punch. Unafraid to throw their all into every single release, The Native's reputation as indie newcomers is far behind them. Instead, they're now cementing their space in the indie sphere with lush guitar-infused mortar.

With their latest EP in the works also, The Native's trajectory shows no sign of slowing down any time soon. Planned for a summer release, the band tell us about the EPs lead single: "We’ve been opening our set with 'Blindside' on tour with Bastille and since we released it the energy has been unreal. It’s a personal tune but people seem to be able to relate to it, which is great to see! And we’ve been testing the new EP on the road and it’s been going off which we’re so grateful for, we can’t wait to share it with you!"

April Tour with Bastille:
14th / 15th – Birmingham, O2 Academy
17th – Plymouth, Pavilions
18th – Brighton, Centre

June Headline Tour:

4th – Birmingham, Muther’s Studio (Sonic Wave Festival)
5th – Glasgow, The Garage
7th – Manchester, YES
