FerQuan's latest release "Heartless" sees him switching his style to fit the mold but still keeps his street edge within reach. The upbeat track produced by Eddie Bandup is built on dark menacing synths and thick 808 drum grooves which FerQuan puts to good use. He employs a mild auto-tuned effect on the chorus section waring the opposition not to push him over the edge lest he goes medieval on them with lyrics like "Me and my homies, we get heartless/ f*** around and turn you 'to a target." The visual is crisp and keeps things as simple as possible with a mix of performance shots, cut scenes of FerQuan with his crew while telling a story of how savage the world is now with so much violence and disregard for life.
He is currently working on his King Quan Project, which will include two new EPs: Barz and Balladz.
