I think it's safe to say Chuuwee is a veteran even though he is still young, but his rap sheet is longer than Pippen's arms. From numerous solo releases, collaborative projects and singles, the Sacramento-based rapper has come a long way but he is definitely not stopping for breaks as he drops his new single "The Speech."
The somber record is retrospective, insightful, and solemn as the rapper runs through his journey and life experiences as an indie artist. Backed by the moody soundscape and sparsely arranged drums, he pours his heart freely on wax. This is quite a departure for the rapper whose previous releases were more stream of consciousness, bravado-driven records and we can see the growth in his style and subject matter.
"The Speech" is the lead single taken from his forthcoming, yet-to-be-titled album.
