Veteran Canadian emcee Es goes for the proverbial jugular in his new release titled "Attack." The record sees him collaborating with Detroit lyricist Elzhi while Ontario producer J.Pal is on the boards with a cinematic and thumping backdrop for the duo to unleash their verbal arsenal. Es leads the offense with fiery lines like "Resonating in MP3 form, stay on my grizzly/Marking my territory, growling the beast/Sun set is in the west, I'm on the prowl from the east." This is tied up by smooth turntablism displayed on the chorus section followed by Elzhi's laidback performance who helps close the track perfectly.
The track was birthed after Es stumbled on the lion segment on the NatGeo channel, which sparked an idea in the rapper who then parallels approaching a beat like a lion on the hunt for its next meal.
