Multi-instrumentalist, producer and composer Tom Ashbrook releases the new explorative single "tu: orbit." Joining forces with Grammy-nominated vocalist Greta Svabo Bech, the single's an emotionally rich blend of ethereal tones; a gripping single that coaxes you into the world of blissful sound.

With a collaborative mix of beautiful sounds and delicate vocals, "tu: orbit" is a delightful dive into the calming notions of Ashbrook's inimitable soundscapes. Built with contemporary electronic worlds, his realm of emotional electronic music is powered with Svabo Bech's voice which carries the meditative sounds with a gentle pull. Making good use of his classical training, Ashbrook's stunning backdrops produce the most elite ambient melodies, ones that you can really immerse yourself into.

"The words for 'tu: orbit' are inspired by the emotion embedded in the music, and, at the time of writing the words I was also in the process of moving home (and country)," he explains. "After living out of a suitcase for such a long time, I felt somehow in limbo, unrooted. I had been thinking a lot about the cyclical nature of things, the strength of our roots, our people, our place. What anchors us."

Enabling us to zone out of our realities for just a moment, "tu: orbit" navigates the feelings of being free. Although Svabo Bech explains that her lyrics were built on the emotions of feeling unrooted, there's also a tangent to this track that provides the pure escapism, a moment to feel unattached and totally alive.
