After a slew of singles released in 2021, rapper Mazyn returns with a new entry titled "Already Made It," which shows his fiery lyricism and work ethos. Being his first release for the year, Mazyn makes it count as he delivers a hard-hitting self-produced record (with the help of production duo EffeNess) that checks all the dots. From the cinematic and punchy backdrop to his unbridled energy and charisma as an emcee, he gives listeners a whiff of what he has in store.
To cap it off, he teams up with prolific videography crew Unknwnroz, who help bring the vibrant track to life. It is shot in a boxing gym and follows the young artist as he puts in work training for the day ahead. The aesthetic is cinematic too and also employs several performance shots and moody cut scenes that add a nice touch to it all.
Mazyn is an emerging hip hop artist from Ottawa, Canada, who started writing raps in his dorm room as an Egyptian international student as a form of coping with homesickness, anxiety, and college stress — which eventually turned into songs he began to share with the world under his previous artist name Capé. In the span of one year of releasing music, he earned a nomination for the "Hip Hop Artist of the Year" award in Ottawa by Faces Magazine. As an artist who is not afraid to embrace his roots, he makes music in Egyptian Arabic, French and English.
