Masked electro pop musician Claptone comes together with iconic UK duo Pet Shop Boys and Juno Pop award winning dream pop act Dizzy on a remix of his ambient pop single “Queen Of Ice.”

Taken from the mysterious act’s third album Closer, Pet Shop Boys breathe new life into the track with an enticing combination of pop and house elements, carried by smooth vocal lines from Dizzy. The anthemic offering builds slowly with an icy ambiance that gives way into explosive yet groovy dance sensibilities.

With dancefloor appeal that captures the essence of Claptone without compromising on their own club-influenced pop identity, Pet Shop Boys remind us once again why they’ve managed to stay on top of the dance music game over decades. The remix which was self-described by the masked maestro as the “peak of Claptone” draws on the captivating appeal of the original and takes it to new heights framed by the confident voice of Dizzy and the veteran touch of Pet Shop Boys.

Having proven his ability to bring commercial and underground elements of dance music together, the remix comes alongside an announcement for new North American tour dates, bringing his explosive soundscapes to the live stage again.
