London musician Finnegan Tui drops hopeful offering "Spring"

Multi-instrumentalist Finnegan Tui delivers hopeful and haunting track “Spring,” a simple yet ethereal electronica ballad drenched with longing for better times. Laid on an intricate bed of delicate strings and soaring synths, the production is built around the unshakeable core of Tui’s deep, bellowing vocals.

Written in winter, which Tui describes as “a time when it is hard to believe that the trees may bloom again,” “Spring” juxtaposes the contemplation of whether good times will ever return in your life before the frost melts away into vibrance again. Rooted in a message about time, seasons and inevitably of life, the track is surprisingly optimistic as it embraces changes within its soulful cadence.

From performing his first gig aged six to build a sonic portfolio through various opportunities that came up in life, New Zealand-born, London-based Tui’s life has been one dedicated to music. Armed with technical training, life experience and a natural talent, Tui, who is currently working on his debut album Zephyr showcases his ability to build soundscapes that feel perfectly crafted yet utterly natural on “Spring” where he bares his soul with a maturity beyond his 21 years.
