Thtbull shows us his style of rap on the new single "Scorpion," accompanied by a visual treatment. The track produced by up-and-coming Russian producer Ay29areyoumad is chilled but is heavy in the bass department and drum groove. Thtbull makes good use of the spacey and sparsely arranged backdrop with his choppy nonchalant delivery and stream of consciousness raps. He doesn't rush the words and lands each line on the beat to great effect and for the most part, keeps it simple enough for listeners to remember.
The visual is handled by Phvzes who help bring out the fun element with a little bit of R-rated content. He makes use of several performance shots, angled cut-scenes, and subtle transition effects that keeps viewers entranced as the song progresses. Thtbull on the other hand is just going with the flow and his carefree demeanor is highlighted throughout the visual even when he is surrounded by two skin-clad ladies.
Thtbull was raised in Portland, Oregon and released his debut LP LeftOvers in 2020 followed by his sophomore Tb the P the following year. He is currently working on a full-length project slated for a 2022 release date.
