Females are often stereotypically accused of being too emotional or acting too rashly. Essy reminds women that it is important to know your worth with “No Prisoners”. The bold track is all about sticking up for ourselves in situations that are toxic. With sharp synths and charismatic vocals the offering is utterly thrilling. Concocting a character of a “wild woman” killing off bad love, this deliciously, seductive tune will have listeners hungry for more.

Essy, a.k.a. Rachel Braig, taught herself to play the piano and was writing songs from a very early age. The pop talent shows so much commitment for her craft and that dedication is felt within “No Prisoners”. The singer reveals, “This song is about the phrase – "It's Not You It's Me." It's about being the "bad guy" and cutting ties with a relationship that isn't right. It's about owning who you are, and cutting off people that don't serve you well. Women are often categorized as emotional, crazy, foolish when they stand up for themselves.”
