Jane Chuks shares new single "Memories"

Nigerian singer-songwriter and radio host Jane Chuks might be green on the music space but she has always been a dominating force in the entertainment field one way or the other. I would admit that I'm not too familiar with her music but on first listen her song "memories" immediately caught my attention. The dynamic production mixed with a sparse drumless arrangement, trippy multi-layered dark sounds, and Chuks' airy angelic vocals push the envelope of modern R&B.

The vivid lyricism of "Memories" delivers a gripping tale of love gone wrong and the variables that come with dealing with a somewhat toxic partner. While fans can easily relate to the message, Chuks provides an intimate 20/20 hindsight perspective letting the individual know that they will always be nothing more than memories in the rear.
