Austrian singer-songwriter OSKA drops wistful offering “Starstruck,” a melodic alt-pop production with a minimalistic acoustic-tinged soundscape built around soft, hazy vocals. Tapping into the rising act’s talent for sincere, bittersweet song writing, the track juxtaposes soothing, feel-good instrumentals with a thoughtful message.

Inspired by the movie Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, “Starstruck,” has a cinematic vibe interowoven with a strong, emotive narrative that celebrates the presence of someone who makes your life better, while simultaneously grappling with an inexplicable fear of losing them. With a dream-like quality injected by OSKA’s feathery vocals, the song lulls you with its gentle atmospheric sensibilities, before a burst of  pop comes through in the catchy chorus.

Having chased her love for music since the age of 18, OSKA has worked relentlessly to craft delicate soundscapes led by her honest artistry. From busking on the streets of Vienna to achieving critical acclaim with her debut EP Honeymoon Phase, her rich musicality framed by pop and jazz influences has gotten more refined over each successive release.

Now, OSKA is set to take the next leap in her career as she prepares to drop her debut full-length album,My World, my Love, Paris,  the earworm sonics and poignant lyricism of “Starstruck,” giving us a sneak peek of what to expect from this promising talent.
