You know the quote “Great things never come from comfort zones”? This statement could not be truer. If you look back at those things you have done that scared you the most, they are usually some of the best moments of your life. Maybe it was starting your own business, moving to a new place or even skydiving. Pop-rock artist Nadia Vaeh likes to remind herself of this when she gets too comfy with her current situation. “Leap Of Faith” is her remembrance to try something new and can inspire us all to be brave as well. The tune charms listeners with gentle guitars, bold percussion and clever lyrics that add so much personality. “Happier living out of my Corolla, out of gas but at least I got some donuts. Yo…are these gluten free.”
At 17, Vaeh’s life unexpectedly changed. After she tragically lost her mother to suicide, her comfortable world as she knew it was shattered. Though that devastating experience was a negative change, she has now realized you can create a life filled with positive ones. The singer admits some of her best times were when she lived in her car and couch hopped at friend’s. She reveals, “Sometimes comfort is just a trap in disguise that is truly holding us back from reaching our highest potential. I am finally learning how to trust myself and that’s what this song is about.”
