On “Mega Man X” the trio of A$AP Ant, Lulu P, and Soduh take turns rapping over a staccato trap beat while showcasing punchlines coated in fresh adlibs and rhymes. The performance-based video for “Mega Man X” feels just as underground as the song and features cut-away scenes as well as clips of the artists vibing in a parking lot. “Mega Man X” is taken from the forthcoming Marino Infantry compilation project, Enter The Infantry Vol. 2.
In 2019, the trio released a critically acclaimed compilation project, Enter The Infantry Vol. 1. The 28-track LP featured A$AP Twelvyy, Baby 9eno, and Benjie Blue among other guests. The new single is the first promotional track off their second compilation project due for release later this year.
Over the past few years, A$AP Ant has been at the forefront of the underground music scene in the DMV area. The rapper is currently transitioning into a more mature role as an individual, creating music with consistency, running a clothing line (Marino Infantry), and now turning his brand into a label.
