Stepping into the alt-pop sphere with her electro-bops, half-Iranian, half-English songwriter Jazz Mino shares the effervescent new single "Shy". Taken from her new EP Someone Else To Talk To, the single glazes through hypnotic beats. Providing a subtle sense of nostalgia with a familiar 00s sound that loops throughout that I can't quite put my finger on, the single emits a bold vibrancy that hooks you in from the first moment. "Shy is about having a huge crush on one of my closest friends," she tells us. "He produces most of my songs with me, and after we FINALLY got together, I was like – "Hey, I wrote a song about you, wanna work on it with me?” … And that’s how Shy was born!"
With her forthcoming EP on the horizon, there's plenty more to hear from Jazz Mino that we can't wait to wrap our ears around. Aligning with pop titans like Carly Rae Jepsen, there are hints of something very big to come for this pop artist.
