NAZANIN's "Dangerous" is smart, confident and courageous

Emerging NYC based pop-singer songwriter NAZANIN is fierce, bold, and determined to stand out from the crowd. Her latest single “Dangerous” is all about power – taking your power back, owning your power, and recognizing the power in others.

Known for her ability to craft songs that draw influence from different decades and genres, “Dangerous” is a clever blend of classic pop, lush R&B, and intoxicating dance melodies that ignite fire and empowerment at the very first listen. The song itself was inspired after NAZANIN suffered a toxic relationship fueled by narcissism, manipulation, and gaslighting. “I was inspired to write the song due to my ex, he was insecure and always tried to belittle me, my goals, my aspirations, and control me,” says the artist.

After the singer cut ties with the relationship, she was moved to write this song to connect with others who have also fallen victim to bullying, so that they too can find peace and confidently stand in their truth. Raw and vulnerable, "Dangerous" features soaring vocals, high-energy production, and a dance-floor ready beat that will leave you begging for more. It’s one of those songs that you can’t get out of your head no matter how hard you try. Hopefully, it’s just a glimpse of bigger and better things to come from NAZANIN in the future.

NAZANIN is a Persian American pop singer from NYC. Growing up in a very conservative Persian-Jewish town on the North Shore of Long Island, she found inspiration through singing, songwriting and performing music at the young age of six. Her music is heavily influenced by her strong sense of independence and the hardships that she’s faced in her life. She confides, "I am powerful and can and will blow your mind. I am a boss”.
