Boston indie rock band Valleyheart drop their latest single “Stepping Stone” and it’s beautifully uplifting. The thought-provoking track probes listeners to re-evaluate their lives, looking at the things that bring us happiness, however small they may be. If there is anything we have learnt from this pandemic, it’s to appreciate the little things and to never take anything for granted.
With gritty, raucous guitars, crashing percussion and a foot-stomping rhythm the four-piece deliver the track through an unfiltered lens. “Stepping Stone” is the third track to be released from the band’s upcoming EP, Scenery. Singer Kevin Klein shares, “I would say the main underlying theme in our music is, as basic as it sounds, to understand the mystery of self, change, identity and life.”
