Over the past several months, Roosevelt has been sharing new tracks from his forthcoming album Polydans. Germany’s Marius Lauber seems to be pulling out all the stops for what’s shaping up to be the grooviest album of the year. So far every track has perfectly showcased Roosevelt’s signature nostalgic, summery analog synth pop. Just ahead of the release his third album, Roosevelt has shared another single called “Lovers” and fans couldn’t ask for a better addition to the lineup.
“Lovers” wastes no time welcoming listeners with its jubilance and positivity. Right from the start, Roosevelt finds the sweet spot and rides that energy until the end. Bouncing synths and soaring vocal melodies work together with the track’s playful Balearic spirit for a contagious result. What makes it so addicting as that Lauber captures that fleeting, effervescent feeling of falling blissfully in love. It certainly comes during the perfect season.
