A new collaborative release titled "What It Feels Like," is a posthumous collaboration between legendary hip-hop icon Jay-Z and the late Nipsey Hussle. The track comes off the soundtrack of the HBO historical drama 'Judas and the Black Messiah.'
It's difficult hearing Nipsey and Hov on a track together and the out-of-the-ordinary legacy that Nips had tragically left behind. "What It Feels Like," has HOV and Nipsey bring strength, knowledge, and perseverance to the table. Through impeccable lyricism, unmatched wisdom, and intelligent wordplay, the two hip-hop Hall of Fame emcees proudly hold their community on their shoulders as they rap about Black power. Nipsey magnetizes everyone as he expresses true realness in every word. HOV powerfully alludes to what occurred in politics and provides social commentary on the ongoing battles for Black equality in the modern age. Combined with symbolic meanings of spirituality, the strong hardcore beats mixed with the classic boom bap sounds create an echo of gospel music that carries Nipsey's message into our hearts.
