Deca and Homeboy Sandman have collaborated on a new single called “All Because of You (Infatuated Duke)”.
Deca is a rapper and producer originally from Denver, Colorado. He creates all of his own beats as well as his own album art and music videos. He first rose to prominence in the mid-2010s after releasing his acclaimed album The Ocean. The album gained a strong internet buzz, earning a wider fanbase for Deca. He later moved from Denver to New York City to advance his music career.
Deca collaborated with Queens, New York rapper Homebody Sandman on "All Because of You (Infatuated Duke)". Homeboy Sandman first burst onto the music scene in the late 2000s, when he began to receive airplay on local New York radio stations. Since then, Homeboy Sandman has made a name for himself as a top tier wordsmith in hip hop’s underground.
Deca produced the instrumental on “All Because of You (Infatuated Duke)”. The instrumental is contemplative and laid back. It features watery keys drifting alongside dreamy synths. Warm bass grooves play out underneath crunchy drums. Whimsical guitars are added partway through the song to accent the beat. Homeboy Sandman comes through with some verbose verses and dynamic flows overtop of Deca’s instrumental. His vocals are smooth and charismatic, suiting the laid back instrumental nicely.
