Walk Of Shame label head Per QX returns for 2021 with new disco infused single “Change Of Mind”, available now. The Stockholm based producer continues to lift spirits in these unprecedented times with productions that bridge the gap between house and disco and this latest release doesn’t disappoint.
His third release on his newly launched label Walk Of Shame, "Change Of Mind" encapsulates 70s disco to Northern Soul whilst adding his own modern twist to the signature uplifting sample. “I want to bring back the authentic sound of soulful disco back to the dancefloor, and I think this track will do the job," he says. "After hours of editing, filtering and time stretching the main sample, adding percussion disco string stabs and beats, I think I got something here to compliment the original song.”
With his new label already seeing high praise, Per QX is only just getting started as the year ahead looks set to catapult him and his imprint further up the ranks. Using authentic disco influences engrained at its core, Walk Of Shame Records has already made it clear they’re going to make a stamp on the sonic landscape with their love of the genre.
