UK rap/grime veteran Nolay is back on her grind with a new EP Kalas and a video for the single "Gang Shxt." The rapper who has 13 projects under her belt with some acting roles to boot is not back doing what she loves best, making music from the heart. As the title suggests, this is Nolay in her element doing what she knows best over a rousing cinematic instrumental.
The video directed by SP is awesome as well. He makes use of performance shots and quick cut scenes to keep the energy going. The fusion of warm and dark colors work well and give off a somewhat suspenseful element that meshes with the tense production. "Gang Shxt" is off Nolay's 6th EP Kalas which is a 7 track body of work that sees her working with all new and burgeoning producers Nicknamez, Mudblood, Zero, Digital Enemies, and Damien Alter, in a bid to shine a light on the talent that might often get overlooked in place of more big-name producers.
