Charlotte artist Victoria Elizabeth caught our ears a while ago with her single "Honey" which was featured here but now the rising star is back with the visual for her song "Missed Call." The record sees Elizabeth balancing her vocals between melodic runs and swaggering rap flows. Bolstered by Kevin Katana’s slick instrumental, she expertly weaves wordplay, narrative, and a bit of braggadocio into her verses. Lines like "candy see-thru lace/please don't make me chase/leave you DOA. I'ma be ok/put it in your face, Make you plead your case" paint vivid pictures for the listeners.
Elizabeth teams up with Film Club to bring the song's sultry energy to life with a crisp, cinematic video that captures the singer's vibrant energy and sultriness. The visuals center on the rising artist and her all girl crew, who get to flaunt their stellar dancing skills in different parts of the Queen City. The track stems from her EP, Last Call, which dropped back in March of last year.
