It's a trippy Martin Luther King Day in the neighborhood for Smino in his new song "MLK Dr". The Zero Fatigue rapper dropped the single paying homage to the late civil rights leader and the street in his hometown, St. Louis. The track features a hallucinogenic off-kilter beat that sounds like theme music for the new dimension he’s has found his way inside. Amidst the free forming instrumental comes Smino and his storytelling skills acting as a guide through the chaos. For a brief minute and a half, the "KLINK" spitter raps of an unearthly experience within pockets only he can find.

"MLK Dr" marks Smino's first release since his She Already Decided mixtape came out in April. The "Anita" rapper's been quiet in the last few months with only a handful of singles and features. Hopefully, this is a promising sign that his next studio album will be coming soon. With his third LP already having been confirmed to be finished, expect Smino to make a lot of noise this upcoming year.
