South West London four-piece The Motive share their latest indie cut "Caught Up". Outlined with detailed instrumentation, the single hails the band as exciting indie-rock newcomers.

Powered with fiery guitar lines and featuring an addictive bass riff that runs alongside an electric undercurrent, "Caught Up" is a mixture of neon indie-laced sonics. Drawing on noughties indie, the single fuses the familiarity with a fresh face to showcase the band's soaring trajectory. Encouraging you to get lost in the feelgood moments and to enjoy things as the come, "Caught Up" drenches you in 3 minutes of bliss, reminding you that there's instant remedy in riffs and alt-rock melodies.

Telling us that this single is their "most driven record" to date, "Caught Up" feels like a maturity in sound from the band. "We enjoyed recording this one as the energy in the room was off the scale," they explain. "We really wanted to make that feeling shine through." And for an unsigned foursome, the band's steady growth is impressive. "Caught Up" is an indie anthem in the making, and for that, The Motive are clearly ones to watch. Keep an eye on these indie risers, their time is coming pretty soon.
