Two of the dance music world's most prominent producers, Lee Foss and Detlef team up with singer-songwriter Anabel Englund on a two-track EP entitled Thunder and lightning. The EP finds its home on the the infamous Hot Creations label, an imprint that both Lee Foss and Detlef have had numerous releases on. The release also marks the debut of the star-studded trio as well as the long-awaited return of both Foss and Englund to the Hot Creations Label after a six year hiatus.

Kicking off the EP is the title track "Thunder and Lightning. The lead track hits the ground running with a subtle yet addictive bassline intertwined with Anabel's mesmerizing vocals at the forefront of the track. The trio has taken on a tasteful vocal-focused house approach on this one and they certainly did not disappoint.  This grooving dancefloor gem is reminiscent of older production that was depicted in Lee's late collaborative project, Hot Natured.

Closing out the EP "I Have Synthed" takes on a different approach from its predecessor on the b-side of this release. This synth-heavy club track takes on a play of words with Anabel uttering "Forgive me Lord for I have synthed" which is only fitting for a record of this stature. The track also features an undeniable acid-laced bass combined with some thunderous claps making for a must-have dancefloor tool.

Collectively, this amazing trio pulled out all the stops on this one leaving dance music lovers craving more after listening to these two gems.
