Emerging Florida-based emcee Niceymost is set to represent his state after seeing the success of acts such as Rod Wave, City Girls amongst others. Niceymost's last body of work was in the form of the EP the sickness: symptoms of pain released in 2019 and now he is gearing up for his debut album, which is set to arrive before 2020 closes out. His new single "Fake Smiles" addresses the two-faced individuals he has come across in his life.
The Sharke-produced single makes use of a familiar vocal sample pitched down against ominous pads and thumping 808-driven drums while Niceymost stays in the cut with his laidback confident flow. Niceymost doesn't only focus on the detractors but he also gives the listener some facts about his own go-getter mentality. He mentions via email that he felt he found himself as an artist on the pounding beat and wanted to showcase his growth as a writer. The track's length which is below the 2-minute mark is unusually short for a single but regardless it serves as a nice introduction for newer fans. "Fake Smiles" is the lead single from his forthcoming debut album The Summer That Never Happened.
