London-based Nottingham singer BEKA makes her debut appearance on EARMILK with the single "I'll Be There." The song marks her debut as a solo act after working behind the scenes as a backup vocalist for production duo HONNE. Inspired by her the ebbs and flows in her life as a married woman, the single serves as affirmation that she will be there regardless of the situation.
After working with HONNE, it was only right for the duo to be the ones to craft her debut song and the result is what we have here. The track is solidified on two main fronts: first being her vocals which is more than astonishing, and the second, the anthemic uplifting backdrop. Bolstered by gleaming atmospheric textures, cinematic orchestra elements, and rousing drums, BEKA delivers a touching performance that is emotional and uplifting. Her heroic vocals swell over the backdrop with such regal splendor that makes one feel a certain type of heavenly rush in the stomach.
