Rising rapper Dougie F is fresh off the release of his recent EP Without A Smile, and is immediately giving his fans a strong video to go along with one of the EP's best tracks, "Training Day." The video comes on the 19th anniversary of the movie of the same name.
The Orange, New Jersey native has had a longstanding affiliation with Cactus Jack, and has seen sizable success throughout his years as an independent artist. He's remained relevant with a consistent release schedule and hard-hitting raps; the six-track Without A Smile is his first body of work since 2018's In Your Feelings. "Training Day" is an obvious highlight, and the visuals are exactly what you'd want them to be: a re-enactment of the 2001 film. The song itself is for fans of rappers that come with bars. It's not overly aggressive but, even with big drops and more laid-back sections, there's never a dull moment on "Training Day." It's especially East Coast, combining a modern bounce with a lasting delivery.
