Recently, Evan has stepped out to become one of the primary artists in the collective with previous releases like "Let Loose" and his collaboration with Newfoundland in"Hour Glass." These have caused a cult following for the producer and this momentum is continued on "Late Night."
"Late Night" sees the return of Mile's atmospheric and ambient signature sound. The attention to detail in the low end is true craftsmanship in its purest form. The use of foley SFX in the drum patterns is unique and interesting and maintains the listener's attention throughout. The song feels extremely airy and this is complimented perfectly by Rikshaw's performance. The thinly veiled synths and pads makes the track feel layered and if you add in the extremely bouncing rhythm section, the results are infectious.
Rikshaw sees himself in a whole new pocket on "Late Night". It's a more subtle, subdued approach but melodically its as inch-perfect as he ever is. The introspective view of someone who is feeling alone and stuck are relatable to any listener and add a deep layer of melancholy to the overall vibe of the track.
