Indie rock outfit Ships Have Sailed was set to embark on a tour with duo Quitting Whitney when COVID-19 hit and their plans were derailed. During these unprecedented times it has taken a toll on many artists, as they can no longer perform live. The band still foraged on, crafting their distinct brand of courageous and encouraging music. Their latest single “Low” details their journey perfectly as the track is a narration of picking yourself up when things seem at their lowest.

The song highlights driving rhythms and vehement vocals exuding infectious strength. Ships Have Sailed reveals in their press release, "It certainly has been a year of ups and downs…I think all of us can relate to that…but that’s just life for you, you have to take the good with the not-so-good and find a way to put one foot in front of the other even when you’re not quite sure where that next step is going to lead.”

Ships Have Sailed is an innovative project concocted by vocalist/guitarist Will Carpenter. Evolving from his previous work, he now creates a style of music that emits a radiant resiliency. Known for his candid and astute lyrics, Ships Have Sailed’s releases inspire listeners to rise above adversity and take control of their lives. Check out their single “Low” and discover the power to prevail.
