The fun-loving, flourishing, singer-songwriter Tucker Pillsbury, otherwise known as ROLE MODEL, has released a brand new single, "blind" paired with a chaotic music video.
The single "Blind" arrived last Wednesday. Produced by Andrew Luce, the light feel of the electric guitar splashes all about the track. This pop bop carries a positive-sounding spirit with an underlying optimistic tone. The sunny hook coincides with the setting of the video as the couple argue in their bright mid-century modern LA home. "Blind" consists of your emotionally happy major chords. However, the scenes in the video aren't too happy as Tucker seems to be blissfully singing how much he cares about this girl as she berates him.
The sappy infatuated number comes this week with a William Disena directed visual featuring actress Madison Lawlor. Speaking about the record, Tucker shared, “It's that feeling of falling for someone over the internet and telling yourself they're perfect for you without even knowing their full name. It's like writing a love song about someone's Instagram profile as sad as that seems.”
ROLE MODEL has not let the pandemic slow him down. He dropped a promising six-song EP titled oh, how perfect last year and is coming off a stripped back rendition of "for the people in the back" from last week.
