Kyle tags Too $hort and a AzChike for new albums title track, “See You When I’m Famous”

Kyle, once known as SuperDuperKyle, reunites the West Coast in his latest collaboration with Bay Area rap pioneer, Too $hort, and Los Angeles’ AzChike. The title track for his new LP, “See You When I’m Famous” burdens a remarkably addictive beat bestowed by none other than hitmaker, JoogSzn. Lively, in synch, and on brand, the Bay to LA rap performances of Chike and Short blend in quite well with Kyle’s laid-back flow. The Atlantic Records signee brings forth nonchalance on the song’s catchy hook; assuring a former female companion that success and fame are on the horizon.

"See You When I'm Famous" begins with Asylum helmed emcee, AzChike prospering as an elite wordsmith with bars such as “I don’t bang, I let the hundreds do the tripping. / Perculating, bitch the perk got me itching. / Only took a gram, but the shrooms got me tripping.” Recreational drug use and designer drip score his verse, the perfect opener for this late-night traffic song.

$hort Dawg makes his appearance towards the latter end of the song. Just as raunchy as ever, the multi-platinum rap veteran doesn't hold back on this generation bridging track. Turns out, the “Blow The Whistle” performer was asked to be on this track solely to make an ideal dream come to fruition. Ventura native, Kyle tells Apple Music that he wanted to “connect him with one of his idols” while referring to Chike and Too $hort, going on to mention that Chike got on “because he flipped a Too $hort song”. He even mentioned that Chike is one of his “favorite rappers”. I’m glad that the trio was able to congeal together so well audibly, making a great summer record for the rest of us to enjoy.
