Adding to his 'Apollo' series, The UK-based Shadow Child is set to release the first track "Mars" from the Apollo 2 EP and marks the next step in the on-going three-part series from the house star.
The futuristic release breaches the barriers of multiple genres birthing an awe-inspiring dance record. "Mars" features captivating chords, followed by an array of synths in combination with a dancefloor shaking bass and tasteful claps and hats. This uptempo dance track takes on a captivating futuristic approach that only fitting for a series entitled 'Apollo'.
Speaking on the upcoming release of the EP, the Food Music label boss states, “Part 2 of Apollo keeps the '90s Trance vibes coming with Venus, a special rework of Binary Finary’s "1998," which the original artists have given their full blessing to. Mars has had huge love and support already from the likes of Calvin Harris in his Love Regenerator livestreams. I’m so happy with how this project has been received and the freedom it’s offered me again musically.”
The second release of the series features his modern take on '90s big room influences intertwined with trance inspired production. The EP will be complete with a forthcoming track entitled "Venus 1998" coming later this month on Electronic Elements. Stay tuned for the second release coming July 31st.
