Third Floor and Denny Love's "Little Pieces" is a memorable goodbye to love [Video]

British-born, Sydney-based producer who goes by the moniker Third Floor links up with US-based singer Denny Love (half of the electro-pop duo Wolf & Love) for this retro pop ballad titled  "Little Pieces".  The track is a melancholic cut that explores the processes of falling in love, breaking up to moving on.

Third Floor pulls out infectious electronic production complete with thick basslines, four to the floor drums and chilling atmospheric textures to complete the job. Denny Love, on the other hand, delivers a compassionate performance filled with all the emotions that come with the beauty and ugliness of relationships. While the song follows the pop textbook to a tee, the earworm melodies Love throws in is hard to deny. Love knows his strengths and sticks to what he knows best, simple repeatable melodies that stand out. A little part of it reminds me of a Spin Doctors song from the 90s but that could just be me reaching.

With a song this catchy, it's only right to get the perfect visuals to capture the same feeling. Beautifully shot by Aaron Bull, the visuals serve as a perfect goodbye to this thing called love. The viewers are introduced to the main characters who both traverse through the many stages of being in a relationship. The shots focus mainly on two elements from the changing beautiful serene landscape as the mood of the characters change. From the outside looking in, we see the gradual build-up of emotions that ultimately lead to the death of love and what you may call a new phase for the characters.
