Nestled deep in the vibrant dance community of Denver is the Colorado-native producer Brendan Bell – better known as Covex. By blending elements of melodic bass with soothing pads and heartfelt vocals, Covex delivers "I Won't Run Away" off his upcoming EP, Learning to Love.
Reminiscent of industry-favorites San Holo, Duskus and Mura Masa, this release marks the first vocal appearance from Bell – complimenting the catchy guitar rhythm with a vulnerable topline and uplifting melodic house drop.
Paired with a breezy second verse and calming backing vocals from Lexi Shanely, "I Won't Run Away" sets the perfect scene for a duet learning to let their guard down. All in all, this release marks a new chapter for Covex, and we're quite excited to keep an eye on the rest of his EP set to drop later this summer.
