Awkward Z takes a turn on new single "Directions"

After what can be deemed as an overly successful rookie year, Awkward Z makes a splash with his new record "Directions". After the success of singles such as "Diamonds" and "To You" along with his debut EP Whats Next? which all dropped last year, Awkward Z is ready to make an even bigger impact this year.

"Directions" is a feel-good single produced by up-and-coming producer Prod 60. The summery undertones on this track, along with synthetic bells and bouncy drums create a bright and beautiful aesthetic filled with hope and happiness. Awkward Z's pen has never been in question but there are undoubted improvements to things such as cadence and singing ability on this one. The chorus is crafted beautifully and is a true statement from the Waterford based musician.

With this track in the can, we can expect much more from Awkward Z this year. With collaborations with the likes of Rikshaw and Suchpapi to his name, we are excited to hear this unique sound blend with other artists across the globe.
