Swedish-Iranian singer Ayelle has released a new single featuring longtime collaborator, Rationale. Although her vocals are just enough to captivate, the harmonies sprinkled throughout are what make you want to stop everything and pay attention to her.

Breaking down the theme of the song in a press release, Ayelle said, “I wrote ‘Choice’ with one of my favourite people – Rationale. When two broken people start falling for each other a lot of old fears can start resurfacing and you have a choice of whether to go through the fear or avoid it. That’s a choice we’re all entitled to and even though it hurts when someone decides not to take the risk of allowing themselves to fully fall for you, that’s still their choice and no one else’s.”

The song begins with her soft voice that ride the wave of the mellow drum beat, featuring Rationale’s production as well as Ayelle’s personal lyrics and mesmerizing vocals. “Choice” will appear in Ayelle's forthcoming Mixtape (NOMAD) due for release on May 15.

Ayelle is an alternative pop artist Known for her emotive vocals and compelling, lyrics. She draws inspiration from her own life experiences and explores a range of topics such as self-worth and power dynamics within relationships. Last year, she signed a publishing deal with Universal Music, performed at SXSW, and received a Momentum Fund by the PRS Foundation.
