Multi-platinum group American Authors have partnered with world-renowned Norwegian duo Seeb for their charismatic new single “Best I Can.” The upbeat, danceable track features colorful, electro soundscapes and gritty, impassioned vocals. The song narrates loving someone wholeheartedly and placing full emphasis on that love instead of material possessions.
The Brooklyn-based four-piece are most recognized for their top charting hit “Best Day of My Life". Teaming up with production duo Seeb on this captivating new release, they set out to craft an innovative sound fusing two genres that wouldn’t typically mesh. “When Zac and American Authors reached out to us to hear if we were up for doing a song together, we started to play around with ideas and tried to figure out how our two different worlds could meet," Seeb reveals in the press release issued for the track. "We often like to work with artists and musicians who are outside the musical genre where we normally live.”
Seeb are known for their remix of Mike Posner’s "I Took A Pill In Ibiza". Having worked with greats like Tove Lo, Coldplay and One Republic, their groundbreaking sonic style defies genres and oozes with originality. This surprising collab with the rock band is just another way for Seeb to step outside the box and construct something completely fresh. Take a listen to “Best I Can” and get a feel of the immense passion it exudes.
