Los Angeles, California-based Annabel Lee releases a high octane pop/rock hybrid track called "Make Out" ahead of her debut EP this fall. Lee grew up in North Dighton, Massachusetts playing classical piano and writing relentlessly, and these skills are ever-present in "Make Out." They also have shown through on "It's Good To Want Things," which garnered airtime on HBO's Mrs. Fletcher.
This uprooting track is all about not being available emotionally. Our innate sense as humans yearn for physical touching, and sometimes that comes with catching feelings. That's not always ideal because we aren't ready to commit or be in the moment. Sometimes all we want to do is just make out – no strings attached. "['Make Out'] is about knowing full well that you aren't ready to be there for somebody, or that you know your heart is already somewhere else, but also feeling that animal need for physical touch. Especially kissing," states Annabel Lee in a press release. "Nothing more than that. It's about wanting it to be simple – no strings – no consequences, just making out!"
