Nashville rapper TeamLilStraw is high energy hip-hop music at its finest. With an aggressive, Southern flow that allows him to twist words together, the young artist just released his debut EP, Cautious. He packs intimidating lyrics into all of the EP's six tracks and there is never boring moment.
Stylistically, he can be compared to rappers like 42 Dugg, but Straw brings a youthfulness that grabs the listener within seconds. His delivery isn't particularly polished, but this rawness is where Straw shines. Tracks like "50/50" and fan favorite "Extra" are clear highlights in their secure songwriting. His relatable message about being a teenager in a city that is becoming increasingly violent is one that cuts through.
