Italian DJ and production duo Supernova affirms their command of house music with their latest release "Can't Stand It", featuring Los Angeles vocalist Marley Munroe. The pair, who together founded Lapsus Music, have demonstrated a breadth of influences across their impressive catalogue, ranging from Chicago house and acid right through to hip-hop, funk and jazz—all the while holding true to their roots.

Echoing the first words of its definitive lyricism, "Can't Stand It" puts a spell on us as Munroe's soulful croons instantaneously cuts through snappy drums for a funky foundation of rolling bass and modulated shakes. Supernova cultivates an infectious number that plays well on the combination of vocal stabs and dubbed-out elements, illuminating a clarity in its arpeggios and vibrancy in each note. Akin to their previous releases, "Can't Stand It" is unrelenting in its build, grabbing hold of groove for a laidback affair that culminates in sophistication—one that shows us the true meaning of house music.
