"Dear Nala," BEKIM is your Simba

BEKIM has released a highly new creative track called "Dear Nala." Through striking songwriting and unique beats, this New York City-based artist, producer, and audio engineer sings to a woman in order to bring his imagination to life through music.

"Dear Nala" is a letter that this artist decides to rap to his Queen, sealing it with passionate love. Comparing his love for Nala to the characters in Disney's The Lion King, BEKIM intelligently chose an analogy that many listeners will be able to relate to. In The Lion King, Nala is Simba's best friend and they spend a lot of time together. Poetically intertwining the love that he has for his woman to the love between these two characters, he sings: "Let's not be passive. Wanna see your passion…I'm a different breed and she wanna be with me. Young Simba. Young Simba. Young Simba. Yeah."  Through his witty songwriting, BEKIM intentionally incorporates the symbolic meanings of fiction and reality. Through protection, strength, and love, he will protect his queen's heart and life with everything that he has.
