Returning back to Gorgon City's REALM imprint after making a debut with his Therapy EP, budding UK producer Sam Girling kicks off 2020 with a roaring acidic tech house cut, "Give It Up."
Rippling in ethereal aesthetic, "Give It Up" features blissful melodic progressions and a subtle yet defiant vocal from the beginning. Machine gun percussions roll in with vibrant synth notes after one minute, quickly ramping up the tension. The cut soon surges into an acidic house frenzy of bleeps and wobbles, bubbling yet restrained, doing absolute damage to your eardrums. Placing tech elements in a trance setting, Girling has brought us a dance floor bliss destined for heavy rotation. Still studying at esteemed UK production school Point Blank Music, he is already proving to be a hefty competitor on the scene.
