UK electronic producer Nohost has arrived with "Away From Home," a dreamy chill trap single perfect for long road trips or a classic winter campfire.
Interlacing lush synths with fluttering arpeggios, Nohost creates a unique, melodic hybrid that masterfully blends elements of lo-fi and future bass. Airy chords and spacey vocal swells make up the break, which culminates in another round of the instrumental track's expertly-produced drop. It's a subtle yet powerful song, which while devoid of a top-line, makes up for in droves with forward-thinking production. "Away From Home" also arrives after Nohost won Petit Biscuit's global remix contest for "We Were Young," which proved to be one of the French artist's biggest tunes of 2019.
