Futurebirds tap into the nostalgia of youth on "Crazy Boys"

Futurebirds have released another single from their upcoming album, Teamwork, entitled "Crazy Boys." With a guitar lead and vocal that call upon Neil Young, the track furthers the concepts and ideas posed by the first two singles from Teamwork. "Crazy Boys" takes us into yet another facet of the Athens, Georgia band's impressive ability to wrangle multiple styles of rock, indie, alt-country and folk into one that has an edge, and is their own.

"Every time the words 'Crazy Boys' were mentioned during the jam session, my nephew would stick out his tongue and shake his head back and forth while letting out a repulsively cute growl. That paired with his aggressive detuned ukulele strumming; It was punk as hell.  Don’t ever let that go, kid!" the band told American Songwriter.

Teamwork promises to deliver on its name, making work of the band's 10 years together and 12 tracks that were recorded across multiple studios throughout the south, Portico, Chase Park, Rialto Row, and Dialback Sound.

Futurebirds has also launched the "Bird Fam Fund," crowdfunding initiative that allows fans to buy into different pieces of Teamwork for various reward packages. More details can be found on their website.

Futurebirds tour dates:

11/29 – Variety Playhouse – Atlanta, GA %
11/30 – Charleston Pour House (Main Stage) – Charleston, SC %
12/27 – Victory North – Savannah, GA
1/15 – Bowery Ballroom (Album Release Show) – New York, NY
